This Privacy Policy explains how Mouber for Kansas ("the Campaign," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information you provide through mouberforkansas.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly when you sign up for updates, volunteer, contact the Campaign, or make a contribution. This may include your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, employer, occupation, and any message you send us. Federal and Kansas law require us to ask contributors for certain information, including employer and occupation, so we can meet our reporting obligations.
We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies, as well as through analytics tools.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate the Campaign and the Site, including responding to your messages, sending you updates and campaign communications, processing and acknowledging contributions, recruiting and coordinating volunteers, complying with campaign finance reporting and recordkeeping laws, and understanding and improving how people use the Site.
Contributions and required disclosures
Contributions to the Campaign are not tax-deductible. Kansas law sets contribution limits and requires the Campaign to report contributions to the Kansas Public Disclosure Commission. Information you provide in connection with a contribution, including your name, address, and (where required) employer and occupation, may become part of a public report as required by law. We cannot keep contributor information confidential where disclosure is legally required.
Email communications
If you give us your email address, we may send you campaign updates and other messages. Every campaign email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-out requests promptly. You can also contact us at bryan@mouberforkansas.com to be removed from our email list.
Text messages
If you choose to receive text messages from the Campaign, you consent to receive automated text messages at the number you provide. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of volunteering or contributing.
Cookies and analytics
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep the Site working properly, and measure traffic and engagement. We may use third-party analytics services that set their own cookies. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent, though some parts of the Site may not function properly if you do.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with vendors and service providers who help us operate the Campaign, such as email, texting, payment processing, and website hosting providers, and who are obligated to protect it. We may also share information when required by law, including campaign finance reporting, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the Campaign or others.

Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.

The Site may link to other websites, including social media and contribution platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Welcome to mouberforkansas.com (the "Site"), operated by Mouber for Kansas ("the Campaign," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it, interfere with anyone else's use of it, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it. You agree not to use the Site to transmit unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content.
Contributions
Contributions made through the Site are governed by federal and Kansas law. By contributing, you certify that you are a United States citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident, that the contribution is made from your own funds and not those of another person, that it is not made from the funds of a corporation or other prohibited source, and that you are making the contribution on a personal credit or debit card for which you have a legal obligation to pay. Contributions are not tax-deductible. The Campaign reserves the right to refuse or return any contribution.
Intellectual property
The content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and design, is owned by or licensed to the Campaign and is protected by law. You may share Site content for personal, noncommercial, and campaign-supportive purposes with attribution, but you may not otherwise reproduce, modify, or distribute it without our permission.
Submissions
If you send us comments, suggestions, or other materials through the Site, you grant the Campaign permission to use them in connection with the Campaign without obligation to you. Please do not send us confidential information you do not want us to use.
